Kwakyewaa Nuako

Kwakyewaa Nuako is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where she obtained Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. She is currently enrolled at WACCI, University of Ghana (Legon) pursuing Seed Science and Technology under the proud sponsorship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Kwakyewaa had the opportunity to be trained as an intern and national service person with the Soil Research Institute (CSIR-SRI) and Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA), respectively. Per the level of experience and skills acquired, she developed keen interest in research and laboratory works especially in relation to seed science and technology, with the aim of enlightening farmers as well as contributing significantly to ensure quality of seed for agricultural purposes in Ghana, Africa and the world.

Studying at WACCI, has broaden my knowledge base in crop production and management. And to a large extend, cultivated the attentiveness to further pursue entrepreneurship as an additional discipline in order to confidently boost crop productivity and combat food insecurity.
