Abigail Kusiator

Abigail comes from Ghana and currently on a DAAD scholarship persuing   MPhil Seed Science and Technology at the West African center for crop improvement-Africa center for excellence.   Before that, she Studied Bachelor of Science in agriculture technology at the university for Development Studies. Whiles persuing her undergraduate program, she led a workshop to create awareness on the health benefits of indigenous vegetables. She did her undergraduate research in the market share of indigenous leafy vegetables. Her research interest is in packaging, storage and marketing of agricultural commodities.

After her first degree she did her national services at environment department of Ghana ports and harbors authority. After serving her nation she worked with natural habitats group of company. She was in the sustainability department where sustainable agriculture was encouraged among oil palm farmers.

She worked with farmers by training them on how to practice sustainable farming. Her passion is to train farmers on how to use good agricultural practices to get quality produce.
