Congratulations to our seventh Spotlight alumnus Dr Edgar Traore. He was funded by the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) for his PhD and received a follow up to further his research after graduation giving him a platform to raise other bigger resources.
Dr Traore graduated in 2014 and has since released 4 Rice varieties, authored 15 publications and he attracted funds worth $ 1.9 million from various donors to support his work.
