Congratulations to our first Spotlight alumnus Dr Maxwell Asante. He was funded by the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) for his PhD and received a follow up to further his research after graduation giving him a platform to raise other bigger resources.
Dr Asante graduated in 2013 and has since released 7 rice varieties, authored 49 publications and he attracted funds worth $1.5 million from various donors to support his work
